How might the Oslo Planning & Building authority use digital tools in order to better implement soft values such as public health?

The regulation of a city’s construction and zoning is a complex sector. To be thrown into this world and be expected to say something interesting was daunting, but also exciting.

Luckily, I was with my friend and fellow student Serafin Kjensli. It was the longest project thus far in the education, and we where free to explore and experiment with all of the different design tools and processes we had learned thus far. We learned a lot from this project, and grew together as designers.

Our delivery consisted of what we termed “idea-tapas”. Instead of designing just one thing, we chose to prototype many different ideas and solutions, such as AI-implementation and multiplayer-software, all brought together a one user-journey.
